The first step to earning Murphy Money is achieving an A grade in brushing. Clean teeth and braces are essential for your child’s health and treatment outcome. Once an A is received for the visit, patients can begin earning tokens for other good behavior, including:
- Showing up to the appointment on time
- Arriving without damaged or broken braces
- Wearing the T-shirt they received on their first visit
- Wearing rubber bands (if applicable) as instructed
These simple actions can help children feel more motivated about participating in their orthodontic care, and parents often love that their kids are excited to brush, floss, and visit the office. Once enough tokens have been collected, kids can trade the coins for a broad range of toys, gift cards, and other goodies. Of course adults can participate, too!
