Infection control and sanitation have always been top priorities for our practice.
What We’ve Always Done
-
Sterilized Instruments
We sterilize any and all dental instruments after use, or after the sterile seal has been broken. We use FDA-approved sterilizers for all our instruments, and if an instrument is unable to be sterilized, we dispose of it properly after a single use. -
We Disinfect
We use EPA-registered disinfectants to clean our entire office. We have always used these disinfectants to clean every surface touched during a procedure between every patient. -
Hand Sanitation
We have hand sinks and hand sanitizer available to patients throughout our office.
Updated Measures (April 2021)
We have always gone the extra mile when it comes to keeping our office sparkling clean! We now have taken our cleaning and infection control measures even further with new protocols! These measures have been updated April 2021.
-
PPE for You & Us
PPE has and remains mandatory for all procedures in our offices and is worn by our team. PPE is no longer required in the reception area but is still required in the clinic area. We will provide a mask if you do not have one. -
Office Disinfecting
We are sanitizing and disinfecting any surface a patient may touch in our office on a regular schedule. -
Communal Areas
The waiting rooms are fully open now with the exception of the coffee bar, iPads, and toothbrushing station. -
Compromised Patients
If you or a family member has an auto-immune disorder or have any health-related issues that enhance your chance of catching COVID-19, we ask that you call the office in advance so that we can best accommodate you.
Social Distancing
To abide by the current regulations, we have also introduced social distancing measures in all of our offices.
-
Seating
You may notice the seating arrangements in our office have changed; this is to allow the 3-foot recommendation of distance between any patients who must sit in the waiting area.
How Can You Help
We are doing everything in our power to keep you safe. Here’s how you can do your part to keep yourself, other patients, and our team members safe!
-
PPE
We are not requiring masks in our reception area. We are, however, still requiring anyone who enters our clinic area to wear a facemask. If you do not have one with you we can provide you with one. -
Patience
We want to thank you in advance for your patience during this time. This has certainly been a difficult time for everyone and extending grace to each other will help us all get through this. We are here for you as a partner in your healthcare and are looking forward to seeing you! Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns.
