Murphy Orthodontics Joins Whispering Wind Academy Fall Festival!

Murphy Orthodontics supports our community through many events at our local schools.  In November we enjoyed a day of fun at the Whispering Wind Academy – Fall Festival 2011.  We were there with prizes from our “Prize Wheel” as well as for the raffle.  We had a great time and enjoyed seeing several familiar faces and meeting many new ones too!  It was a pleasure for our team to be a part of this fun event.

Our Murphy Orthodontics team  sponsored a team and our staff participated in event for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (Phoenix) on October 9, 2011!  Thank you to everyone who supported our team and this worthy charity event!

Scout Tours

Murphy Orthodontics invites local Scout troops to come in for a complimentary, educational tour of our office. This is our way of thanking the Scout organizations for the difference they make in our community. It’s also a great opportunity for the Scouts to get a “smile education” while they enjoy fun and treats on us! Contact our office for details.

Brownie Scout Troop 2484 Tour

For our first scout tour of the year we were honored to host Brownie Girl Scout Troop #2484 along with some of their family and friends! They enjoyed an opportunity to learn about oral hygiene and the world of orthodontics. They also got to make “thumb molds” in order to get an idea of what it’s like to have “impressions” taken, and they enjoyed some fun and treats on us! What a great group! Special thanks to Brownie leaders Joleen and Debbie!

Ronald McDonald House Charity Event

The Murphy Orthodontics Team shares a sense of importance for serving our community, and we are proud to find ways to support many worthy charitable causes. For 2011 we have identified the Ronald McDonald. House Charities of Phoenix in our annual “Adopted Charity Program”. The RMH organization provides a temporary home-away-from-home for families who must travel to the Phoenix area to receive medical treatment for their children. It also supports programs that directly benefit children and their families in our community. On April 7th our team, along with our friends at Briggs Family Dentistry, provided and prepared dinner for the RMH families. In addition to that, our caring team and wonderful patients also made donations of cash and “RMH Wish List” items! Check out these photos of some highlights from the April 7th event.
