New Patient Information
We are excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. As a courtesy to you and your dentist, your first visit and initial consultation with us is complimentary. We appreciate that each patient comes to us with varied orthodontic concerns, goals, and expectations about treatment. We set aside ample time at your first visit to obtain needed diagnostic information (i.e., digital photographs, xrays) and then discuss all aspects of your orthodontic treatment with you. During this exam we will address the following areas, and we encourage you to ask questions as well.
- Is orthodontic treatment appropriate?
- Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
- What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?
- How long will treatment take?
- How much will it cost?
- What are my payment options?
Our patients leave the office with a clear understanding of their specific needs, what the treatment will consist of, and how long it will take. If orthodontic treatment is not yet needed, we offer complimentary observation visits (including membership in our “Kids’ Club” observation program) as we monitor future growth and bite development.

Financial and Insurance Information
Orthodontic treatment is an outstanding investment. We strive to provide high quality, affordable treatment that fits into your budget. We are happy to offer flexible payment options to fit your personal circumstances, including:
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards
- In-office interest-free financing
- 3rd party financing through Care Credit or Springstone Patient Financing
Discounts given for payment in full at the start of treatment, for multiple family members in treatment and for educators.
If you have an insurance plan that covers orthodontic treatment, we are happy to help you determine your benefits prior to your first appointment. If your insurance company requires continual claim processing, we will also do that for you.
Since orthodontic insurance benefits may change during your treatment period, please be aware that the responsible party is financially accountable for any remaining balance.
We are here to help you maximize the insurance benefits you have. Due to the differences in insurance policies, we can give you an insurance estimate but cannot guarantee coverage. Your insurance company gives us the estimated coverage but they will determine what will be paid after the initial claim is submitted. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service, we will bill your insurance company for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you would be responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
